Steve Johnson
Steve has been a GAHI instructor since 2000, teaching the One and Two
Family Dwelling Code. He is an ICC certified Residential Combination
Inspector. He is a Sr. Building Inspector with the City of Atlanta,
and owns and operates his own home inspection company.
Steve is past chair person for GAHI's Technical and Standards committee. His past work experience ranges from working 12 years as a marine engineer in the offshore oil industry, facilities management and maintenance with
Johnson Controls, and home construction and renovation.
Since his affiliation with GAHI, Steve has served as a seminar instructor and
presently teaches Mechanical and Plumbing courses for the Birch Academy.
Steve is regularly featured on a local Atlanta radio station as an
expert home inspector.
