Gary Lewis

Gary has been teaching the CABO/ICC One & Two Family Dwelling Code for more than 6 years. He is a seminar instructor & curriculum developer for the Birch Academy at the Georgia Association of Home Inspectors and is part of the team that administers the Home Inspection Methods course.

Gary has been an active GAHI board member since 1999 serving first as co-chair of the Standards and Technical Committee, chairman of the Education committee, then Vice President. He is the immediate past President of GAHI.

Gary's professional education includes a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (1975). He also successfully completed the GAHI One & Two-Family Dwelling Inspector Training class (May 1998).

Gary has extensive experience as a project engineer and maintenance manager.

- Served on sub-committee for the Code Advisory Committee reviewing the 2006 International Residential Code for the State of Georgia.

- Performed more than 2000 residential and commercial inspections
